In the summer of 2022, we decided to add high-quality cork fashion accessories to our portfolio. To do this, we traveled to Spain and Portugal to visit manufacturers and inspect the production facilities. What we discovered was sometimes shocking. Absolutely inferior cork goods combined with poor working conditions.
We then found what we were looking for at Artipel Portuguese Cork, the world's highest quality producer of cork fashion accessories.
At the Winter Tollwood 2022 in Munich, we were able to present the first Artipel models and were sold out after almost two weeks. In just 19 months, we have grown to become the world's largest Artipel authorized dealer and have been appointed general representative for Germany.
