verKORKst – these are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces made from cork oak bark. From wall candle holders and lanterns to fruit bowls and lamps – cork can do much more than just seal bottles and hold notes.
The verKORKst pieces, lovingly crafted by Maria and Andreas, come from cork trees in Spain. They grow in a warm, Mediterranean climate among olive and eucalyptus trees. Sustainable cork cultivation is a top priority. The regrowing bark is expertly peeled and further processed according to its quality. After peeling, selected pieces of bark find their new home in Upper Bavaria. With joy and the greatest appreciation, the two lovingly handcraft and refine the cork bark into unique handcrafted pieces. verKORKst is more than decoration and more than a gift item. It is a way of life: the respectful interaction between people and nature.
